Two more charged in Bluffton, HHI car thefts | News
BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC)- Police made two more arrests Tuesday in a rash of lowcountry car thefts. Bluffton police arrested Kevin Alvarez, 17, and a 15-year-old juvenile on 18 counts of grand larceny.
Police say the vehicle thefts started back in May and didn't stop until nearly 20 cars were stolen from Bluffton and Hilton Head neighborhoods. Police say some of the stolen cars were even dumped into ponds once the joy rides were over.
Police had already arrested another suspect, Demetrius Arroyo, 19. All three suspects are being held without bond.
