BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - Another Habitat home is going up in Bluffton and Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity is searching for new volunteers.
“One Hundred Volunteers in One Month” was created to recruit volunteers who are willing to donate their time and energy on the construction sites as well as in the ReStore.
“Hundreds of Lowcountry residents have built ninety-two Habitat for Humanity houses in Hilton Head, Island, Bluffton and Ridgeland with their neighbors who need a simple, decent, affordable place to live. 100 Volunteers is an exciting way to once again offer a hand up, not a hand out to those who are willing to work hard to improve their family’s lives.” said Patricia Carey Wirth in a news release, Hilton Head Regional Habitat’s President/CEO.
To learn how you can volunteer with Habitat, contact the Habitat office at 843.757.5864 or visit www.habitathhi.org.
