Shelter Cove Mall Redevelopment presentation set for Saturday | News
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC)- Experience Green is
set to host the presentation of the Shelter Cove Mall Redevelopment Project as
part of the 2nd Annual Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Earth Day
Celebration on April 21 at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island.
The presentation will take place during the event's special Celebrate Community
program at 4 p.m.
The Shelter Cove
Mall Redevelopment will transform the existing enclosed mall area into an open-air
community center with retail stores, restaurants, residences, public parks and
open spaces.
"This exciting project will
provide a new and unique development on Hilton Head Island facing Broad Creek
for people to live, work, shop, dine and play," said Mark Baker, president
of Wood+Partners Inc., the project's land planners, according to a press
release.
The Earth Day Celebration will
take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 21. Admission is $5 for adults and
