ICE puts hold on Hilton Head Island bar fight suspect | News
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC)- Gerardo Hernandez-Maranon,
already in jail on involuntary manslaughter charges, is now on hold with U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents.
Police say Maranon punched a man
in the face during a bar fight on Hilton Head Island last week. The victim suffered brain trauma and
died. No word yet on how either Maranon or his victim's immigration status will
affect the prosecution of this crime.
