Traffic accident snarls traffic on HHI | News
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC)- Traffic is moving again after a two vehicle crash on Highway 278 around lunch time on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews say a vehicle overturned during the crash on the Hilton Head Bridge near the Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuge. Traffic was down to one lane westbound.
While the accident was cleared up in about a half an hour, the traffic was backed up for quite some time.
One person was airlifted to a hospital.
