Broad Creek clam, oyster beds temporary closed | News
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) - Heavy rain is causing some closures on Broad Creek.
On Tuesday, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control announced the temporary closure of the clam and oyster harvesting beds, saying the rain could bring higher bacteria levels.
No word on when the clam and oyster beds will reopen.
