Wedding season is in full swing, and if you plan on  getting hitched anytime soon you probably know how quickly the costs add up.

BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC)- The acting superintendent of the Beaufort County School District announced her retirement on Wednesday.

Jackie Rosswurm, a 44 year education veteran, told board members, principals and staff that she will retire on July 1.

Rosswurm has been serving as acting superintendent since last fall.

Jeffrey Moss, a veteran North Carolina educator, will officially take over as the superintendent when Rosswurm retires.
